I'd rate this shirt right in the middle. There is nothing special about it but it's also not the most unfortunate oxford in the world. I suppose you could roll up the sleeves or pop up the collar to give it more pizazz. At least the stripes add some depth. Like the other reviews said, a plain white oxford would be horrifically boring.

Dressing up for events is easier with this shirt. This top has subtle stripes which makes it more interesting than a single color oxford. I have one in every color! It also goes with everything and can be worn year round. Cool enough to wear in the summer and pairs nicely with a cardigan for the winter.

This shirt is perfect for traveling because it does not wrinkle very easily. If you let it hang in the closet for an hour or two, the wrinkles start to come out. I haven't had to iron this shirt once since getting it! Makes for a perfect conference shirt, I highly encourage anyone who travels for Athena to get this one.
